As we observe Black History Month and honor the history of Black Americans, we invite you to join our discussion with your fellow CRNA and RRNA colleagues during our virtual panel on their professional and educational journey through the lens of diversity, equity and inclusion.

The FANA Government Relations Committee (GRC) is partnering again with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee in order to facilitate these important conversations. We would also like to discuss how our members can become engaged in their communities, how they can become leaders, and identify what is required to run for an elected position.

FANA recognizes that our members represent all demographics and practice in every setting where anesthesia is delivered. It is our goal to have the patient population better reflected in the CRNAs providing their care. We seek to engage with CRNAs and RRNAs in discussions on diversity, cultural sensitivity, and inclusion within the nurse anesthesia profession. We believe in increasing awareness and discussion on diversity and equity in our communities, for our patients, and for our colleagues.
